A long time ago in the city of Nazareth there lived a woman named Maria who loved God very much and who was going to marry Jose, who was a carpenter. An angel appeared to Mary and told her that she would have a baby and call him Jesus, and that baby would be the Son of God.

When José found out that she would have a baby he felt confused, but an angel appeared to him in his dreams and told him that he was the Son of God and he understood everything. José and María had to go to Bethlehem and having no cars took a long time to arrive and Maria was shortly to give birth to the baby. They did not know where to spend the night and although they do not really know where they stayed, everyone thinks they did it in a humble barn with the animals. It was a warm place and they could lie down thanks to the straw. That night the baby Jesus was born who slept in a clean straw manger.
