Now Everyone Can Own Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch for This Mind-Blowing Price

One of the most popular properties in the entire world, both for impressive and controversial reasons, is the Neverland Ranch once owned by the King of Pop Michael Jackson, and it has come on to the real estate market once more after having been listed numerous times in the past.

The timing of this listing is particularly interesting as it somewhat coincides with the HBO documentary called Leaving Neverland, which is bound to stir up some controversy, but perhaps this time the Ranch will finally sell in the market.

Multiple Listings

According to Suzanne Perkins, who has been the listing agent for the property since quite some time now, it has been difficult finding a buyer for the Ranch during its previous listings. The Ranch came on the market back in 2015 with a staggering $100 million price tag, and nobody seemed to show much interest in buying it.

Then, speculating that perhaps the lack of demand was due to the price, the property was relisted back in 2017 with a much lower price tag of $67 million. Although this seemed somewhat justified for a property spanning over an area of 2700 acres, the listing went off the market having failed to sell yet again.

A Revised Price

The millionaires who are somewhat interested in purchasing this gorgeous property once owned by Michael Jackson would be delighted to know that it has been listed on the real estate market yet again, this time at the lowest price ever of just $31 million. This is less than half the price commanded for the Ranch back in 2017, and less than a third of what was demanded back in 2015.

While some may want to wait even further in the hopes that the price will decline even more, with the release of the HBO documentary and a renewed attention towards the Ranch, it is possible that this time Perkins would be able to find a suitable buyer. Perkin’s colleague, Kyle Forsyth, is also quite confident that the Ranch should sell this time around.

Sadly, the fun amusement rides which were once a defining feature of the ranch have been removed.

No Longer Neverland

Many of you would be sad to hear that the Ranch has been renamed and is no longer officially called the Neverland Ranch. Instead, it has been given the name Sycamore Valley Ranch, perhaps to distance from all the controversy that surrounds the Neverland Ranch.

Currently owned jointly by both Jackson’s Estate as well as a Colony Capital-managed fund, whoever will be buying the Ranch would become the new owner of the main house built over an area of 12000 sq. ft., the same house which Jackson used as his residence during his life. Multiple guesthouses are also part of the deal, as well as a swimming pool designed in the style of a lagoon.

There are also gorgeous courts at the property for both basketball as well as tennis, and shockingly, the estate’s own fire department equipped with a fire truck that dates back to the 50s. Although one added attraction of the Neverland Ranch was the amusement rides placed all around the estate, sadly those have been removed.
