Kanye West Gave Kim Kardashian a Beautiful Necklace Inspired by a Secret Text Message

Who would have known? Turns out Kanye can be quite thoughtful when it comes to gifts! Always an innovator, Kanye turned a text conversation into a memorable jewelry piece for his wife.

It might seem pretty cliché (but still pretty nice!) to engrave your or your loved one’s initials onto jewelry to make it a more personalized piece with sentimental value.

Seems like Kanye West has taken that idea up a few notches by engraving an entire text message he had sent Kim previously, onto a Cartier bracelet.

And not just any Cartier necklace. Since the message itself was a special one, Kanye went the extra mile to have it engraved onto a classic vintage Cartier piece.

Kim then took to social media to share the occasion with her fans whilst simultaneously gushing over hubby in the Instagram post.

“If you look closely at my necklace,” Kim wrote in her Instagram caption, “you can see it’s from a text Kanye sent me. He took an amazing vintage Cartier gold plaque necklace and had it sketched out. He’s always the most thoughtful when it comes to gifts.”

The photo in the post shows Kim wearing the necklace and also a screenshot of the text message sent by Kanye on her phone.

The text in the message (and also on the necklace, DUH) is a compliment from Kanye to Kim, outlining her achievements in life and that her dreams had indeed come true.

“This is your life, married with four kids” are the first two lines in the text along with a photo of one of their houses, referring to their lavish lifestyle and children North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago. The text further reads, “Get people out of jail. Cover of Vogue. Go to church every week with your family. Dreams come true.”

The third line in the text is in reference to her efforts to bring reforms to the prison system, a point she took up with the President of the United States during their meeting at the White House in 2018 when she fought for the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a grandmother who had served a 20-year prison sentence for a first-time drug conviction.

The fourth line in the text are in reference to her gracing the cover of Vogue magazine, which she has since gone on to do on multiple occasions after her first outing, even making an appearance on the cover with her husband Kanye back in 2014.

The idea of gifts like these certainly is a novel one, and once trendsetters like Kanye and the Kardashians start doing it, could jewelry engraved with text messages become a thing? We sure hope not.
